The ROHR2 User Meeting 2007 took place at May 15th, 2007 in Unna, Germany.
A great number of ROHR2 users, interested people and experts in pipe construction, component analysis and pipe stress calculation came together to hear news about the Update release ROHR2 30.3, learn more about products in development stage or compare news.
Because of organizational reason, the number of participants has been limited. There are additional events planned for German speaking users as well as for international (English-speaking) users.
The changes and news in ROHR2 release 30.3 took the main part of the event, among them Stress codes /Stress Analyses, Extended data input and control, New Components (Viscodampers, heads and bottoms, blind flanges) as well as enhanced calculation and representation of results.
After lunch the event was continued by the presentation of current software development projects, like automatic report generation in ROHR2 and integrated analysis of substructures by Finite Element Analyses (ROHR2FEM).
At the end of the day, there was a place for discussion.
It is a good tradition in the history of ROHR2 program to keep the personal contact to the users by periodical user meetings. The last event of this kind was that long ago, that a lot of participants suggested to repeat this successful of event periodically.
