ROHR2- additional module FE-Analysis

ROHR2FEM is a program for the fast detail analysis of selected components in pipes using the finite element method (FEM). The time-consuming and difficult truncation of the structure is done by the program automatically to carry out a fast and simple evaluation. The input values used for the analysis may be taken directly from the ROHR2 program, alternatively put in manually.

The calculation is carried out by basic load cases, which may be combined in load case combinations and scaled by factors later on. It is not required to start the analysis again in case of creating new combinations or scaling of loads but the results are shown directly.

Additional ROHR2FEM determines rigidities at nozzles at cylinders, torispherical ends, semi-ellipsoidal ends. They may be transmitted into the ROHR2 calculation of connecting pipes in spring matrix form.
In this way the conservative fixed point condition, normally assumed for the determination of support loads can be put in perspective to get realistic loads.
