ROHR2fesu: FE analysis of substructures in ROHR2

Welcome to the ROHR2fesu training page.

This page offers ROHR2FESU training material referring to specified tasks. For ROHR2fesu product information please go to ROHR2fesu features.

The training material is stored in different file types:

1. Online flash movie: The task solution is presented in an animated movie file. Click on the movie link to start and follow the instructions. The green navigation buttons allow you to go forward or backwards in the tutorial .

2. PDF copy of the movie. If the movie format can not be executed on your computer, please open the pdf which includes the video contents.

3. Zip file containing the calculation data of the example.
For your own exercises the ROHR2 data of the calculation is added in a zip file. Download and copy the data to your ROHR2 project directory, then start the *r2w file to run the example in your ROHR2 license or demo license.

4. Zip-file containing complete movie and calculation data for download.

The ROHR2fesu movies are for demonstration purposes only.
The ROHR2fesu project data cannot be opened in ROHR2 release 30.3c or lower.

ROHR2fesu training example 06

ROHR2fesu - allowable nozzle loads

This FESU example demonstrates how to do a stress verification for allowable nozzle loads.

It is required when the pipe stress calculation of the pipe connected to the nozzle is not available.

The FESU example shows how to calculate maximum stresses for the worst case combination of loads directions where only the absolute value is known but the sign of the loads are unknow.
